Ben Maher | GOLD COAST MANAGER

Having started as a casual trainee camera operator for a small production company at age 14, Ben Maher’s career within the media industry has taken him far and wide throughout much of Australia’s eastern states.

From early beginnings working on outside broadcasts for Horse Racing, Harness Racing and Rodeo throughout Northern NSW to a 10 year career with NBN Television, Ben has gained a wealth of experience in all facets of television production having worked under some of the industry’s best professionals.

Being proficient in Camera, Editing and Lighting, Ben has held many important roles over his 13 year career, having spent his last 5 years as a senior commercial production director, developing commercial campaigns and working on live television events in all markets throughout Northern NSW and the Gold Coast.

In his spare time, Ben is a commercially qualified diving instructor who has a passion for the underwater world. A country boy at heart, Ben still loves life on the Gold Coast where he manages Castle Media’s South Queensland operation.
